Job description

Amazon Devices is seeking a senior marketing leader to architect and scale an integrated marketing operating system across our consumer technology brand portfolio. This role is the connective tissue between strategy and execution - responsible for building the systems, processes, and operating models that drive unified demand generation, brand coherence, and measurable customer growth across one of the world's largest consumer technology businesses.
This is not a traditional campaign leadership role. We are looking for a modern marketing operator - a system builder who can design scalable marketing infrastructure across product lines, unify disparate teams and disciplines under a single operating model, and deliver business outcomes with speed and precision. The right leader combines deep marketing expertise with an AI-native mindset, a product-thinking approach to building repeatable capabilities, and zero distance from the customer. They are equally comfortable defining strategy and building the workflows, measurement frameworks, and AI-enabled mechanisms that make strategy durable and scalable.
Key job responsibilities
• Architect and own the integrated marketing operating system-establishing scalable frameworks for planning, creative development, media execution, and measurement that drive organization-wide leverage
• Design and lead end-to-end integrated marketing strategies spanning brand, performance, media, creative, product marketing, lifecycle, and channel, bringing disparate functions into a unified execution model
• Build the connective tissue between brands, channels, and customer touchpoints to deliver a cohesive narrative while preserving individual positioning
• Own the customer-facing narrative that connects product value to portfolio-level benefit, ensuring customers understand not just what each product does, but what they gain when offerings work together
• Operate as a senior strategic partner to product and business leadership, translating customer insights, market dynamics, and product roadmaps into high-impact marketing plans
• Drive a culture of high-velocity decision-making across competing priorities, stakeholders, and timelines-moving with urgency while maintaining strategic coherence
• Establish measurement frameworks and feedback loops that connect marketing activity to business outcomes with speed and accountability
• Leverage AI, automation, and emerging agentic tools to fundamentally transform how marketing is planned, produced, and optimized-building new models where no established playbook yet exists
• Build, coach, and scale a high-performing, cross-functional marketing organization across brand strategy, media, creative, content, product marketing, and lifecycle functions
• Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, sales, and category teams, influencing outcomes without direct authority across organizational boundaries
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
• 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing with direct accountability for integrated brand and performance marketing strategy at scale
• 10+ years building and leading cross-discipline marketing teams across brand, media, creative, and demand generation functions
• Demonstrated track record building marketing systems and operating models-not just executing campaigns, but designing the infrastructure that enables repeatable execution
• Experience operating in highly matrixed environments requiring integration of multiple brands, product lines, or business units with competing priorities
• Experience with organizational transformation or change management at scale
• Experience managing large marketing budgets with demonstrated accountability for ROI, efficiency, and growth
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or advanced degree
• Demonstrated AI fluency with evidence of integrating AI and agentic workflows into marketing operations, creative production, content operations, and decision-making as a native operator
• Background in marketing operations, growth, digital transformation, product-led GTM, or AI transformation functions-provided strong marketing credibility accompanies it
• Deep expertise across marketing verticals (brand strategy, performance media, creative, product marketing, lifecycle) with a strategic understanding of how they integrate
• Track record of systems thinking: designing frameworks and operating models that scale across products, geographies, and channels
• Product-minded approach to building repeatable capabilities-evidence of creating durable mechanisms that outlast individual programs or campaigns
• Examples of high-velocity decision-making in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where speed was a deliberate operating choice
• Experience bringing together disparate organizations with different incentives, building alignment and delivering outcomes through influence
• Demonstrated zero-distance orientation: using customer signals, data, and direct engagement to inform strategy in real time rather than relying on layers of abstraction
• Experience leading through significant organizational change, transformation, or rapid scale
