We're in a major growth phase at Bluelight, and we're seeking a highly driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with strong outbound sales experience to expand our client base. This role is focused on high-volume outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and booking qualified appointments. The ideal candidate is confident speaking with U.S.-based decision-makers, has excellent English communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment.
What You'll Do
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting daily (80-150+ activities/day) via cold calls, cold email, LinkedIn, and SMS
  • Use HubSpot to manage daily outreach including call tasks, email cadences, and follow-ups
  • Build and manage targeted prospect lists using Apollo and Clay, aligned with Bluelight's ideal customer profile
  • Run structured multi-touch outbound sequences in Instantly to engage prospects and drive responses
  • Write and send high-converting outbound emails and LinkedIn messages with strong personalization and clear calls-to-action
  • Initiate outbound conversations with confidence, clearly communicating Bluelight's value proposition within the first few seconds
  • Qualify prospects based on defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline) and identify real sales opportunities
  • Handle objections effectively and position Bluelight as a solution to prospects' software and technology needs
  • Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives and ensure strong show rates through proper follow-up
  • Accurately log all activities, notes, and pipeline updates in HubSpot
  • Continuously improve messaging and outreach strategies based on results
  • Meet or exceed KPIs including daily activity targets, conversations, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or inside sales roles, preferably within technology or software industries
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers confidently
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
  • Experience in telemarketing or outbound calling campaigns is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with a customer service-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
