JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: INTAKE/ASSESSMENT SERVICES PROGRAM MANAGER

CLASSIFICATION CODE: EXEMPT FULL TIME

DEPARTMENT: INTAKE/ASSESSMENT SERVICES

REPORTS TO: CLINICAL DIRECTOR

STATEMENT OF JOB: STATEMENT OF JOB: This position provides program management to the Intake/Assessment Services Department. The Program Manager is responsible for providing administrative oversight, case management staff development, cultural training, review, and development of program needs, working collaboratively with the Intake/Assessment Services Clinical Supervisor and ABHS Clinical Director, and backup to Intake/Assessment Services Department staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provide oversight for the Intake/Assessment Services staff members.
  2. Provide Intake/Assessment Services staff direct and administrative supervision in collaboration with clinical supervisor.
  3. Assist staff in helping clients in accessing needed services with service agencies in the areas of transportation, financial assistance, housing, state/federal entitlement programs, medicine, schools, churches, and other agencies to assure continuity of care.
  4. Participate as needed in ABHS clinical staffing with Team Clinicians and other members of the clinical team to review client progress and services requirements.
  5. Coordinate staff case load assignment with Intake/Assessment Services Clinical supervisor.
  6. Coordination of recruiting, on-boarding, and training new Intake/Assessment Services department staff.
  7. Develop and assist staff in implementation of new Intake/Assessment Services programming.
  8. Share responsibility of outreach activities with Intake/Assessment Services clinical supervisor.
  9. Provide backup coverage for Intake/Assessment team staff members, including clinical supervisor, for assessments, intakes, walk-ins, groups, etc.
  10. Verify and print Medifax confirmation information for intake process as needed.
  11. Complete data entry in electronic health record all intake information for new clients.
  12. Participate in supervisory team collaboration with all staff.
  13. Abide by all applicable policies, procedures, and program standards of ABHS, White Mountain Apache Tribe, Indian Health Services, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) and other pertinent regulatory authorities.
  14. Ability to address a variety of diverse spiritual, emotional, and social needs in multiple environments of an often-high-risk population, using a trauma-informed care approach while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and cultural awareness.
  15. Possess the ability to work with a wide range of clients including families, and adults.
