Vendor Insurance Analyst

Fort Washington, PA(Onsite - 3 days in Office Per Week)

Complete Description:

What is the opportunity?

The Vendor Insurance Analyst is responsible for frontline insurance risk management by working with vendors/subcontractors and Companyโ€™s project staff for an assigned territory.  Works with other departments to ensure all guidelines are met when needed.

What are the primary responsibilities?

  • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets insurance documentation and policies of vendors/contractors, to ensure compliance with contracts and written agreements, ultimately has authority to independently approve orde ny insurance documents based on their analysis.  The role involves contract reviews to gain understanding of vendorsโ€™ work activities/scope of work. Accountable for an assigned territory.
  • Accountable for entering information in company databases and various software platforms for monitoring and tracking by multiple departments and project staff.
  • Liaise with project management staff, vendors/contractors, and insurance representatives, as needed, throughout insurance review process.

Essential:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in analyzing casualty and liability insurance coverages utilized in the construction field preferred
  • Work in office 3-days per week. Additional in office days may vary per Division/Department.

Preferred:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in related discipline
  • 2+ years in the insurance industry or risk management field
