Job Description
The Director, Global Health & Safety and Security is responsible for leading the enterprise strategy to protect Vuori's people, assets, and operations across Headquarters, supply chain, and international locations. This role drives a proactive, risk-based program encompassing workplace safety, physical security, crisis management, and workers' compensation, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and a best-in-class employee experience.
What you'll get to do:
  • Develop and execute a global health & safety program across HQ, DC, Retail, and international markets
  • Lead and mentor the Health, Safety, & Security team, establishing performance standards and operational best practices
  • Drive injury prevention strategies across all Vuori locations
  • Ensure timely reporting, investigation, and documentation of workplace incidents
  • Oversee claims lifecycle support, including coordination with insurance carriers/TPAs, evidence collection and investigation support (e.g., CCTV, reports, and return-to-work (RTW) and modified duty programs
  • Monitor program performance (costs, trends, KPIs) and implement cost-containment strategies
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and international regulatory requirements
  • Own enterprise physical security strategy including GSOC, access control, CCTV, and incident response
  • Conduct global risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies (e.g., theft, workplace violence, geopolitical risks)
  • Oversee crisis management and business continuity planning
  • Lead cross-functional response for high-risk incidents (employee injury, workplace violence, major events)
  • Promote a strong safety culture through leadership engagement and employee awareness training
  • Align safety, security, and workers' comp efforts with enterprise risk management priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Asset Protection, Facilities, Legal, People & Culture, and International
  • Manage international vendor relationships and ensure compliance with local regulations

Qualifications
Who you are:
  • 12+ years of experience in Health & Safety, Security, Risk Management, or related fields
  • Proven leadership experience in multi-site or global operations
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and international safety regulations
  • Experience managing workers' compensation programs and claims environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable programs and influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in retail, supply chain, or multi-location environments
  • Background in investigations, crisis management, or security operations
  • Data-driven approach to incident reduction and cost management
  • Strategic mindset with operational execution
  • Ability to translate risk into business impact and actionable programs
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple priorities

The salary range for this role is $173,00 per year - $222,495 per year. This role is bonus eligible.
