Overview

Abt Global is seeking highly qualified U.S.-based consultants to join a roster of experts supporting current and future opportunities funded by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD).

Abt is seeking consultants who have experience supporting governments, local institutions, and implementing partners to strengthen their ability to sustainably plan, finance, manage, and deliver health services while advancing health security and resilience.Consultants should also have business development experience as they would be expected to support proposal development processes.

We are interested in consultants who will bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Health System Sustainability and Country Ownership

  • Health financing and domestic resource mobilization
  • Public financial management for health
  • Transition and sustainability planning
  • Governance and institutional strengthening
  • Health sector reform
  • Private sector engagement, faith-based health systems, and strategic partnerships
  • Digital health, health information systems, data analytics, interoperability, and data use for decision-making
  • Supply chain and pharmaceutical systems strengthening

Global Health Security and Infectious Disease Programs

  • Experience designing or implementing programs with a strong focus on accountability, performance, efficiency, and measurable outcomes.
