Human Resource Director

Hoxton Circle

San Francisco, CA • Hybrid

Full-time

Job description

An established well capitalized private company is hiring a Human Resources Director to build and run HR for its San Francisco office.

This is a solo seat reporting directly into firm leadership, with no HR layer above it. You'll own the full operational range of the function, from onboarding through benefits and vendor management, while working closely with senior leadership day to day. Real ownership, direct executive access, and room to grow the role's scope as the firm scales.

What you'll own:

  • Full employee lifecycle, offer letters through offboarding
  • Compensation data and tracking
  • Benefits administration and PEO vendor management
  • Day to day HR partnership with firm leadership
  • Building out process and structure as the firm grows

What we're looking for:

  • A hands on HR generalist who has owned the full operational scope of a function, not just the strategic side
  • Comfortable working solo, no team to delegate to
  • High discretion and sound judgment
  • Genuinely open to working from a San Francisco office five days a week
  • Open industry background

Compensation:
$165,000 to $175,000 base, plus 10 to 15% bonus, flexible for the right candidate.
