What the Role Delivers

We are looking for a Logistics and Warehousing Manager EMEA to lead logistics, warehousing, inventory, fleet, and facilities activities across the EMEA region.

Based in Valencia, AgroFresh’s largest production and export hub in EMEA, this role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement and storage of materials and finished products across a complex international supply chain.

The position leads an established operational team and combines people management with direct responsibility for international transportation, imports and exports, warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, fleet administration, and the infrastructure of company-owned facilities.

The role works closely with Planning, Production, Customer Service, Finance, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial, Procurement, IT, and other Operations teams across the region.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands logistics and international trade, but who also has the operational judgement, resilience, and problem-solving ability required to manage a fast-moving regional operation.

Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance

  • Lead and develop the EMEA logistics and warehousing team, setting clear priorities, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Manage inbound and outbound transportation across road, ocean, air, courier, and multimodal solutions.
  • Coordinate imports, exports, customs processes, international shipping documentation, and compliance requirements across EMEA.
  • Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics service providers.
  • Lead warehouse operations at the Valencia hub and coordinate regional inventory locations.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, stock integrity, traceability, cycle counts, reconciliations, and effective SAP inventory execution.
  • Monitor freight, warehouse, customs, fleet, facilities, and operational costs, supporting budgeting, forecasting, invoice control, and reporting.
  • Manage EMEA fleet administration, including vehicles, contracts, maintenance, repairs, insurance, inspections, rentals, and related requirements.
  • Oversee company-owned warehouse and facility services, ensuring sites remain safe, operational, compliant, and fit for business needs.
  • Develop KPIs, control-tower visibility for transportation, dashboards, process standardization, SAP improvements, digitalization initiatives, and practical solutions to operational disruptions.

What the Job Requires

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or international operations
  • Previous experience leading operational teams in a regional or international environment
  • Strong knowledge of SAP logistics and inventory processes
  • Experience with KPIs, operational reporting, cost control, and data-analysis tools
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Power Platform, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Availability to travel within the EMEA region when required

  • Experience managing facilities, infrastructure, maintenance providers, and operational suppliers is valued
