Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston is an independently owned and operated private practice serving both the local Clarkston community and the state of Michigan through our office space and telehealth. We manage almost all of your administrative tasks, including billing, so that you can focus on what you love, client care.

At Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston, you’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to expanding access to high-quality mental health care while embracing values that make the journey meaningful: authenticity, compassion, creativity, humor, acceptance, and determination.  
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated LPC to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll provide outpatient therapy while also providing documentation review for LLPC's. 
  • Please note - we’re only considering fully licensed LPCs for this position.  
We offer a standout W2 pay model (straight commission) with industry-leading compensation.  
What You’ll Do at Ellie Mental Health – Clarkston:  
  • Deliver Care: Conduct comprehensive mental health intakes, develop treatment plans, and complete timely documentation including diagnoses, treatment plans, and session notes.  
  • Build a Caseload: Maintain direct client facing hours. Full and part-time hours available. 
  • Documentation Review: Review and co-sign notes to LLPC's on the team.  
    • Please note, LARA Approved Clinical Supervisor is not required for this position as providing clinical supervision hours to LLPC’s is not a requirement of this role. 
 Required Qualifications & Core Competencies:  
  • Mandatory Licensure for Clinical Practice: Applicants must hold full, unrestricted licensure in the State of Michigan. 
    • Provisional or limited licensure does not meet eligibility criteria.  
  • Advanced Educational Foundation: A master’s degree in counseling or related field from an accredited institution.  
  • Clinical Proficiency: Experience in creating and implementing treatment plans, as well as maintaining detailed clinical documentation including case notes and diagnostic updates.  
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills that support therapeutic effectiveness, collaboration, and client trust.  
  • Professional Boundaries & Integrity: Demonstrated ability to establish and uphold stable, ethical boundaries with clients in a clinical setting.  
  • Timely and Accurate Documentation: Consistently completes session records, service notes, and required documentation promptly.  
  • Inclusive Clinical Approach: Comfortable and confident working with a diverse population across age groups, backgrounds, and presenting issues.  
  • Technology Competence: Proficient in day-to-day office tools and electronic health records (EHR); experience with Valant is a plus!
