The Opportunity

Our client is a global leader in healthcare, diagnostics and life sciences, developing innovative technologies that enable clinicians to make more informed decisions and deliver better patient outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Global Business Leader, Digital Health & Diagnostics to lead a portfolio of clinician-facing digital solutions that sit at the intersection of clinical medicine, diagnostics, precision medicine and software.

This is a highly strategic leadership position with responsibility for the end-to-end commercial performance, product lifecycle and P&L of a growing digital health portfolio. The successful candidate will define the strategic direction of the portfolio while leading a team of Product Management professionals to translate that vision into impactful products and solutions used within complex clinical environments.

The role will work across a highly matrixed global organisation, partnering with commercial, technology, diagnostics, molecular and clinical teams to create integrated solutions that connect software, diagnostic data and clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall strategy, commercial performance and P&L for a portfolio of clinician-facing digital health and clinical software products.
• Define and execute global commercial strategies, value propositions and market entry plans.
• Identify new opportunities to drive portfolio growth, market adoption and customer value.
• Translate long-term strategic objectives into clear, actionable priorities for product teams.
• Establish and communicate a compelling product vision, ensuring teams understand the broader clinical and commercial purpose behind their work.
• Monitor key business and product performance metrics, market trends and customer feedback, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

Digital Product & Lifecycle Management

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex digital products, from strategy and development through commercial launch, adoption and ongoing optimization.
• Drive the successful launch and scaling of clinician-facing digital solutions within live clinical environments.
• Ensure products remain closely aligned to the evolving needs of clinicians, healthcare systems and patients.
• Identify opportunities to integrate digital health solutions with molecular diagnostics, genomic technologies and clinical decision-support platforms.
• Partner with internal technology, diagnostics and commercial teams to develop integrated solutions that improve clinical workflows and outcomes.
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to understand market needs and translate them into product strategy and roadmap priorities.
• Continuously improve product management processes, ways of working and organisational effectiveness.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of Product Management professionals.
• Create an environment that encourages autonomy, accountability, innovation and customer-centric decision-making.
• Coach product leaders and teams in advanced product discovery, prioritization and strategic trade-off decisions.
• Build effective cross-functional operating models that enable teams to move quickly and reduce organisational dependencies.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex product, commercial and cross-functional challenges.
• Build strong relationships across technology, engineering, commercial, clinical and executive leadership teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced digital health, healthcare technology or diagnostics product leader who combines strong commercial and strategic capabilities with a deep understanding of clinical workflows and the healthcare ecosystem.

You will bring:

• 10+ years of leadership experience within healthcare technology, digital health, diagnostics, life sciences or a closely related sector.
• A proven track record of launching and scaling clinician-facing digital products within real-world clinical or healthcare environments.
• Experience leading digital product management teams and managing complex, multi-product portfolios.
• Demonstrable experience with P&L ownership, commercial strategy and business growth.
• Strong understanding of the global diagnostics and healthcare technology landscape.
• Experience working across highly matrixed, international organizations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• A track record of building effective partnerships across product, technology, engineering, commercial, clinical and executive teams.
• Strong systems-thinking capabilities and the ability to connect complex clinical, technical and commercial considerations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to create alignment around a clear product vision.
• A relevant university degree; an advanced qualification such as an MD, MSc, MBA or engineering-related postgraduate degree would be advantageous.

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly advantageous:

• Medical oncology
• Genomics and molecular diagnostics
• Digital pathology or digital health
• Healthcare software and clinical informatics
• AI-enabled healthcare solutions
• Experience managing products across APAC, South America or other emerging international markets
