You'll Be Responsible For : 

  • Provides input to the Data Strategy and owns the translation of this strategy into a clear roadmap of delivery projects.

  • Responsible for organisation wide data improvement activities, mobilising data governance forums,  managing and building strong relations with key stakeholders across the business.

  • Shapes and oversees transformation projects to drive improvement of the quality and consistency of data and leveraging this data to provide tangible insight and business value.

  • Manages key stakeholders across Mace leadership community and board, developing data experts within Digital , including the Mace Data Hub team.

  • Provides thought leadership, best practice and innovation to Mace's data roadmap, ensuring delivery, execution and achievement of team key performance indicators (KPIs). 

  • Manages team, supply chain and outsource partners, both to advise on strategy and contribute to efficient delivery. 

  • Accountable for providing comprehensive expertise and counsel regarding the latest technology and market trends and movements. Champions recommendations to ensure the best in-class technology is highlighted and considered by the business. 

  • Proactively provides thought leadership in domain, advocating the implementation of new technologies, approaches and innovations that yield competitive advantage for the business.                                                                                                                                                     

  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition, and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have 

  • 10 years of experience leading and delivering data improvement, governance, and transformation initiatives.

  • Proven track record of delivering multiple complex projects with budgets exceeding 1 million.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data management, and supporting technologies.

  • Experience presenting complex concepts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, including Board-level executives.

  • Strong project estimation, planning, delivery, and management capabilities.

  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and Board-level executives.

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams of 10 professionals.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build, maintain, and develop strategic internal and external partnerships.

  • Experience driving data quality, governance, and business improvement initiatives across an organization.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
