Job description

GOTV Data Associate

Texas Democratic Party Houston, Texas, United States

About this position

About the Texas Democratic Party

Founded in 1846, Texas Democrats continue the march towards a state as great as its promise.

A fair shot for all, thatโ€™s what drove Democrats to build this great state, and that is what drives us today. A belief that no matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from, or who you love if you work hard in Texas, you can make it.

We believe democratic government exists to achieve as a community, state, and nation what we cannot achieve as individuals.

We believe in equal opportunity, fairness, freedom, family, community, and a responsibility to ourselves and each other. These are the values our elders passed down to us, the values we hope to share with our children, and the values we expect from our elected officials.

The Texas Democratic Party is a movement of millions of Texans coming together to fight for our Texas values. We know our state cannot succeed when the deck is stacked against working Texans and their families.

About the Role

The Texas Democratic Party is seeking a GOTV Data Associate to join our Texas Together 2026 Coordinated Campaign, supporting Talarico for Texas and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

The GOTV Data Associate will support the Texas Democratic Partyโ€™s Get Out the Vote (GOTV) efforts by providing day-to-day data and technical support to campaign and organizing staff. Working closely with the TDP Data Team, the Data Associate will respond to VAN support tickets, troubleshoot user questions and technical issues, and complete a variety of tasks within VAN. The role will require strong attention to detail, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to quickly understand and resolve data and technology questions in a fast-moving campaign environment.

The Data Associate will also work directly with the GOTV Data & Analytics Director and Deputy Director on projects and tasks that support the broader GOTV data program. Assignments may include writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, working with Google Sheets and Google Data Studio (formerly Looker), assisting with data analysis and reporting, and supporting other data and analytics projects as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with technology and data, and contributing to Democratic campaigns during the critical GOTV period.

This position will begin ASAP and end November 15, 2026.

Compensation Pay

GOTV Data Associates are compensated at $5,000 per month.

They are eligible for generous benefits including health care, vision, and dental insurance and stipends for cell phone and eligible transit.
