The Junior Associate, Data Management & Strategy serves as a key coordinator and enabler for enterprise data management activities, helping make it easier for business, domain analytics teams and technology teams to engage with data, governance processes and data-related services across the organization. The role supports data request intake, issue management, governance coordination, information fluency and operational reporting while helping stakeholders navigate data-related processes and resources.

Working closely with data, analytics, technology and business stakeholders, the Junior Associate contributes to the development of documentation, training materials, governance artifacts, presentations, dashboards and stakeholder communications. The role helps facilitate data governance forums, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and promotes greater awareness and adoption of enterprise data practices. This position directly supports the Data Management & Strategy team and partners with senior team members on operational and strategic initiatives that improve how the organization accesses, understands, and utilizes data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support data request intake, issue management, and resolution tracking to ensure data-related requests and issues are effectively managed and addressed.

  • Assist with data operations activities, including data validation, monitoring, maintenance, and routine data quality reviews.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of data quality by investigating issues, supporting remediation efforts, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support with the development and maintenance of documentation, training materials, data definitions, and user resources that promote information fluency and data literacy across the organization.

  • Coordinate and support data governance activities, including preparation of presentations, agendas, meeting materials, decision tracking, and follow-up actions for councils and working groups.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and stakeholder communications while supporting strategic and operational initiatives led by the Data Management & Strategy team.

Who You Are

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, Communications, Analytics, or a related field (current students will be considered)

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with data management, data governance, Power BI, or analytics concepts is a plus.
