Who are we hiring?
The Director, Partner Success is a high-impact role responsible for driving the success, growth, and retention of Sphere's Official Partners within the Sponsorship division. This person will serve as the strategic day-to-day lead for a portfolio of world-class brand partners - ensuring flawless fulfillment, uncovering new values, and delivering insights that fuel upsell, renewal, and long-term partnership health.
This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who thrives at the intersection of client service, operational success, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. The Director will work hand-in-hand with Sales, Venue Operations, Integrated Marketing, Business Operations, Creative, and the Client Services team to deliver white-glove service and measurable results for every partner engagement.
What will you do?
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners while coordinating seamlessly across Finance, Sales, Production, Integrated Marketing, Creative, Business Operations and Client Services.
  • Manage partner inventory across Sphere portfolio.
  • Deliver exceptional, proactive service to commercial partners, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled and partner goals are exceeded.
  • Develop deep knowledge of each partner's business objectives and align Sphere resources to co-create activations that drive mutual value and maximize partnership ROI.
  • Surface new lines of business, upsell opportunities, and activation ideas that inform renewal strategy and deepen partner investment.
  • Lead the campaign reporting process post-activation - partnering with internal teams to compile performance reports, identify successes, and recommend optimizations.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Experience: 8+ years in Sponsorships, Account Management, Partnerships, or Program Management within sports, entertainment, media, or technology - servicing top-tier brand partners. Experience in financial services preferable.
  • Client leadership: Proven ability to manage senior-level client relationships with confidence and strategic acumen in both internal and external settings.
  • Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and analytical communication skills with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy. Experienced communicator leading conversations with c-suite and executive level stakeholders.
  • Project management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects on schedule and across competing deadlines.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Track record of building effective interdepartmental relationships and rallying internal teams around partner objectives.
  • Venue Operations: Familiarity with live entertainment, venue operations, event logistics, or in-venue hospitality workflows preferrable.
  • Mindset: Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, a bias toward action, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
