Job description

This is an in Office Position
Summary
This role is an in-person position at our Las Vegas superstore location. Remote candidates will not be considered.
The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling designs for packaging, marketing materials, print, and digital
content, ensuring our brand stands out in a competitive market. This role requires collaboration with marketing and
product teams to deliver cohesive and effective visual communication, contributing to the success of the overall
creative strategy. Produce highly creative visual work for packaging, print, environment, collateral, digital and web
materials. Manages own projects, working within schedule requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Creates and designs materials, independently and based on the direction of management.
  • Works and effectively communicates with the creative director, creative manager, copywriters and account executives to create and produce clear, concise and effective materials.
  • Keeps design standards and elements consistent with brand standards with a high level of accuracy.
  • Stay up to date with the latest graphic design techniques, styles and trends, as well as software technology.
  • Design and create enticing graphics for a diverse array of deliverables including event brand guidelines, logos, infographics, executive presentations, proposal packages and marketing collateral.
  • Generate creative ideas and execute work independently.
  • Lead multiple projects from conception to completion simultaneously in accordance with deadlines.
  • Actively participate in concept ideation while ensuring consistency and adherence to MMDC's brand style + voice.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of production for collateral including resolution, sizes and file types, as well as scanning, pre-press and print production.
  • Understanding of photography and an eye for photos that will convey necessary messages for design goals.
  • Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
  • Strong photo retouching, image compositing, and color correction skills is a plus.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications

Excellent grammatical, spelling, and proofreading abilities are preferred.
Excellent design skills and creativity.
Ability to take design direction.
Experience working within highly regulated industries such as cannabis, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, gaming, or
healthcare is preferred. Understanding of packaging regulations, legal disclaimers, and compliance requirements is a plus
Must complete Osha 10 Industry Training within 6 months of hire (company paid)
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing or graphic design; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be able to possess a marijuana agent card and be 21 years of age or older.
