  • Develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs for internal teams, production partners, creators, and agencies
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure content reflects brand standards while embracing platform-native storytelling
  • Optimize creative for both organic and paid social placements, ensuring assets are designed specifically for channel objectives and audience behaviors

  • Lead the growth strategy for YouTube and Pinterest, identifying opportunities to expand reach, engagement, search visibility, and long-term content value
  • Stay ahead of emerging platform features, creator behaviors, viral formats, and cultural conversations to identify opportunities for the brand to participate authentically
  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends to continually evolve channel strategies and maintain cultural relevance
Performance & Optimization
  • Analyze content performance across all social platforms, identifying trends, audience insights, and optimization opportunities
  • Use engagement metrics, watch time, retention, saves, shares, click-through rates, and conversion insights to continually improve creative performance
  • Partner with Paid Media teams to identify high-performing organic content suitable for paid amplification and develop creative optimized for paid social campaigns
  • Conduct regular content audits and develop recommendations based on platform performance, audience behavior, and emerging best practices
  • Measure and report on channel growth, engagement, content effectiveness, and campaign performance
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Community, Creative, Retail Marketing, eCommerce, and Media teams to deliver integrated content strategies
  • Partner with influencer teams to identify creator content that can be leveraged across owned and paid channels
  • Manage the social content calendar to ensure alignment with campaign priorities, launches, retailer initiatives, and seasonal moments
  • Manage, mentor, and develop one direct report while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment
Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in content strategy, social media, digital marketing, or brand marketing, preferably within beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer brands
  • Deep expertise across Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook), TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest, with a strong understanding of each platform's algorithms, audience behaviors, and content best practices
  • Demonstrated success developing high-performing organic and paid social content strategies
  • Strong creative instincts with experience writing creative briefs, editing content, and curating assets that perform across multiple platforms
