Job description

Meta is seeking a Vice President of Content Studio to lead our in-house social within the Communications and Public Affairs Organization. This leader will be responsible for shaping and executing Meta's content strategy, overseeing the development of compelling narratives, campaigns, and creative assets that bring Meta's brand, products, and mission to life for global audiences.The VP of Content Studio sits at the intersection of storytelling, creative strategy, and communications — driving how Meta shows up across channels through original, high-quality content. This role leads a multidisciplinary team of creative directors, content strategists, and production professionals to deliver work that resonates with consumers, press, policymakers, and internal audiences alike.
Vice President, Content Studio Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute the vision and long-term strategy for Meta's Content Studio and company owned social channels, ensuring alignment with broader communications and company objectives
  • Partner with key leadership and cross-functional partners to translate corporate priorities into compelling creative content strategies
  • Champion the role of creative content as a strategic lever for Meta's reputation, brand, and product communications
  • Oversee the development of original content including video, editorial, social, interactive, and multimedia assets across platforms
  • Set and uphold creative standards and quality benchmarks for all content produced by the studio
  • Drive innovation in content formats, storytelling approaches, and distribution strategies
  • Lead and inspire a world-class creative team
  • attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Foster a culture of creative excellence, collaboration, and data-informed decision-making
  • Manage studio budgets, resource allocation, and production workflows to ensure efficient and scalable content operations
  • Maintain and develop new measurement frameworks to evaluate content performance, audience engagement, and business impact

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in content creation, creative leadership, media production, or related fields
  • 10+ years of people management experience, including leading directors and senior leaders
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling creative teams and content operations
  • Experience developing content strategy at a brand, media company, agency, or technology company of significant scale
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the technology industry or at a major consumer brand with global reach
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, digital content ecosystems, and emerging content formats
  • Background in video production, editorial, brand storytelling, or integrated campaigns
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and translating corporate strategy into creative output
  • Familiarity with data-driven content optimization and audience insights
  • Experience managing through ambiguity and leading creative teams during periods of organizational change
