Job description

Position Overview

The Department of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a board‑certified Neurologist with an interest in Memory Disorders or a Behavioral Neurologist with a focus on clinical care. The position serves as Medical Director / Vice Chief of Clinical Operations for the Memory Disorders Clinics within Duke Neurology’s expanding outpatient practice in the Raleigh‑Durham area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care in the Duke Neurology Clinics, primarily focusing on Memory Disorders and optionally including a portion of general neurology.
  • Outpatient‑only clinical role; inpatient coverage handled by the Duke Neurohospitalists.
  • Oversee clinical operations, clinic access, management of clinic personnel, and clinical/research continuity as Medical Director.
  • Precept medical students, neurology residents, and fellows from multiple disciplines with an interest in Memory Disorders.
