Description

The Clinical Director is responsible for all operational, financial, clinical and compliance aspects of the clinic including but not limited to: Maintaining appropriate staffing levels, ensuring consistent delivery of full clinical programming, maintaining the facility compliance and safety programs, ensuring the building is properly serviced and repaired, adhering to the facility budget, and communicating routinely with Paradise Treatment Services’ corporate team regarding resource needs and concerns.

The Clinical Director will also monitor the performance of all operationally critical contracted services and report, address and resolve all related problems in these areas as they occur and as appropriate to the scope of this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements all clinic rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines consistently
  • Ensures adherence to the required HIPAA, JCAHO, Arizona State, and other monitoring agencies documented requirements including those found by county, state, and federal regulatory agencies
  • Monitor compliance reports, timeliness reports and address all personnel deficiencies
  • Manages all clinic operational activities. This includes developing and implementing plans for enhancing productivity, compliance, and profitability
  • Serves as the subject matter expert within the facility and works collaboratively with medical, nursing and technicians
  • Reviews treatment plans, case notes, and written correspondence to verify that such documents meet insurance submission, JCAHO, HIPAA, county, state, and federal agency standards
  • Manages staff in accordance with Paradise Treatment Services polices, processes and procedures
  • Works directly with the Corporate Support team including HR, Finance, and Facility Management
  • Oversees the timely completion of the patient notes, records, and treatment plans
  • Oversees development, completion, and adherence to curriculum defined by the company. Drives the clinical programming and delivery of care for all patients.
  • Implements and maintains Paradise Treatment Services’ organizational model of critical meetings that support compliance with all clinical, financial, and operational aspects of the clinic
  • Ensures consistent tracking, monitoring, accountability, and reporting for operational and quality metrics defined for the clinic
  • Creates an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the organizations mission, vision, and values
  • Maintains facility standards set by the organization as well as Federal and State requirements and informs Executive team of any deficiencies
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the clinic management team
  • Participates in the Company’s corporate organizational meeting structures and reporting processes
  • Facilitates clinic patient treatment planning meetings and staff meetings to ensure effective communication and clinic compliance
  • Participates in local community events and functions as related to the provision of addiction treatment services
  • Maintains good relationships with local civic, law enforcement and emergency services groups, healthcare partners and treatment advocacy groups
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required

  • 5+ years' experience in Behavioral Health/ Addictions
  • 3+ years’ upper-management experience in the Behavioral Health/ Addictions field
  • A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations
  • Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
  • Working knowledge of operations and financial management
  • Proven expertise in leadership and employee development in relevant topics such as people management, communication, change management, strategic thinking etc.
  • Strong influence, business acumen and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
  • In a 12-hour workday: standing/walking up to 12 hours per day
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • You must have the ability to use tools and equipment required for the position
  • Mental Focus: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
