Director of Clinical Services DaVita SNF Dialysis

Here's what you can expect as a Director of Clinical Services at DaVita:

This position functions as DaVita SNF Dialysis clinical lead responsible for quality, education and nursing services across the DSD national footprint. Responsible for the implementation of programs to improve patient quality outcomes by providing training, education, project management and support for the clinical teammates within the assigned division.

As the Director of Clinical Services you are responsible for the overall management of the division's clinical services team. Supervising DSD clinical services teammates including the hiring, promotion, discipline, professional development, and discharge of teammates with approval from the SDCS and People Services Manager as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

  • Participate in divisional DSDQI activities
  • Monitor implementation and report on company initiatives
  • Identify issues that require the establishment of clinical Policies and Procedures or recommend modification to existing policies and procedures
  • Data collection and reporting as requested
  • Monitor and report on AOR investigation process within DSD
  • Ensure that all new clinical teammates complete the appropriate DaVita Prep training program
  • Ensure the timely completion of clinical training
  • Identify specific training needs within the division and implement action plans
  • Direct the implementation of training materials/revisions from the national education team
  • Identify and communicate professional development needs and ensure a continuing education program is in place
  • Direct and provide on-going education support at the SNF level Compliance/Regulatory
  • Ensure adherence to the DaVita compliance program
  • Ensure that DaVita's training programs meet or exceed federal and/or state requirements
  • Ensure that proper documentation is submitted when required to the appropriate regulatory agencies
  • Provide oversight of the audit process(s) to ensure regulatory compliance and consistency in approach
  • Assist in developing action plans and strategies for addressing deficiencies in partnership with operations management
  • Ensure division's compliance with all laws, regulations and practice guidelines that impact nursing practice Management and Leadership
  • Provide coaching and leadership including effective performance feedback to Clinical Team
  • Ensure the team is providing support for and development of the clinical preceptors
  • Participate as a member of the Divisions Operations Core Team Meetings in development of strategic direction for division and ensure the development of outcome programs to support the direction
  • Participate in the divisional operations review process and provide reports with analysis as requested
  • Allocate resources according to divisional priorities
  • Develop a collaborative and unified team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active RN License:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master's degree (MSN, MHA, MBA) preferred.
  • Clinical Expertise:5-10 years of clinical experience in dialysis/nephrology.
  • Leadership Experience:Dialysis management experience, experienced leading and developing teams in a decentralized structure. Ability to influence diverse leadership levels in a matrixed structure.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Mastery:Understanding of CMS regulations, State Department of Health surveys, and ESRD compliance standards.
  • Location & Travel:Residence within a current DaVita SNF Dialysis Services (DSD) geography, with convenient access to a major airport to accommodate required travel.
  • Multi-site Experience:Experience in leading multi-site clinical operations and driving performance metrics across distributed teams.
  • Process Engineering:Strong track record of driving process creation, continuous quality improvement, and operational execution through cross-functional teams and direct reports.
  • Executive Polish:High degree of executive presence, strong communication skills, and clear potential for continued professional growth within the organization.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $128,000.00-$175,000.00 per year.If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hourWashington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.71/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
