About the Role:
Vision360 Partners is hiring a Director of Strategic Communications to join our team in Washington, DC to lead public affairs, crisis, and litigation communications work for a roster of national clients. This is a high-impact hands-on leadership role — you'll shape strategy, run campaigns, manage account teams, and work directly with agency leadership across all our lines of business.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of full-time professional experience, including agency experience
  • Based in the DMV area; able to work from our DC office Tuesdays and Thursdays
What You'll Do
  • Client strategy: Advise clients on communications strategy and execution — messaging, content, and channel strategy including social; monitor emerging issues; help clients and agency leadership stay ahead of developments
  • Campaign leadership: Lead integrated issue advocacy (legislative/regulatory), crisis, and digital campaigns that shape narratives and reach target audiences
  • Earned media: Pitch reporters, cultivate media relationships, manage rapid response, book interviews, place op-eds
  • Coalition building: Identify, recruit, and activate allied third-party experts and organizations; lead or contribute to multi-stakeholder advocacy coalitions
  • Team management: Mentor and oversee day-to-day account workflows, ensure deliverables are polished and error-free, and manage execution with precision
