The President/CEO position at Franciscan Alliance is a key ministerial role within the Roman Catholic Church's healthcare ministry, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration. In this role as a practicing Catholic, you will serve as a ministry leader and be responsible for stewarding the institution's Catholic identity and for faithful adherence to the Roman Catholic Church's Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

In this role, you will:
  • Champion Mission & Catholic Identity - Serve as the spiritual and strategic leader of the ministry, ensuring all care delivery aligns with our Catholic values and Ethical and Religious Directives.
  • Set Vision & Drive Strategy - Shape and execute a forward-looking strategy focused on growth, innovation, quality, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead High-Performing Teams - Inspire and develop executive leadership while fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and excellence across the organization.
  • Advance Clinical & Operational Excellence - Ensure best-in-class patient care, strong quality outcomes, and efficient, evidence-based operations.
  • Partner with Governance - Collaborate closely with Boards of Directors to align strategy, performance, and mission priorities.
  • Strengthen Financial Stewardship - Oversee financial health, optimize investments, and ensure responsible resource management to sustain the ministry for future generations.
  • Engage Communities & Stakeholders - Build trusted relationships with physicians, community leaders, and public officials while advocating for the communities we serve.
  • Represent Franciscan Alliance Broadly - Serve as the face of the organization in industry associations, partnerships, and legislative matters.

QUALIFICATIONS
An active practicing Catholic in good standing with the Roman Catholic Church - Required
Master's Degree Required in one of the following disciplines:
  • Healthcare Administration
  • Business Administration in healthcare management
  • Public Health Administration
  • Medical Management

7 years' experience as a hospital or hospital system CEO or equivalent senior executive experience in a healthcare organization - Required
