The Senior Director, Business Development will own new business development for Fuze Health, building and managing a pipeline of pharmaceutical manufacturer partners interested in alternative channel, hub services, and pharmacy programs. Reporting to the VP of Business Development & Partnerships, this person will be responsible for transitioning existing relationships and deals in flight, sourcing new opportunities, running the sales process end-to-end, and closing manufacturer relationships that expand Fuze Health's footprint in the specialty and alternative channel pharmacy space.
Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a qualified new-business pipeline of pharmaceutical manufacturer prospects for hub services, specialty pharmacy, and alternative channel (DTP/DTE) programs.

  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with manufacturer decision-makers, including commercial, trade, and market access leadership.

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.

  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that translate manufacturer needs into Fuze Health's service offerings.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Pharmacy & Hub Operations, Clinical Services, Legal, and Finance to structure deals that are operationally and financially sound.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting in the CRM; provide regular updates to the VP of Business Development.

  • Track industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments affecting alternative channel and hub services models.

  • Represent Fuze Health at industry conferences and manufacturer-facing events to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of business development, sales, or partnerships experience in pharmaceutical manufacturer services, specialty pharmacy, or hub services, with prior experience at the Director level or above.

  • Working knowledge of alternative channel models, including DTP and DTE program design.

  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, trade/distribution, or patient access services.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior manufacturer stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects and partners.

  • Undergraduate degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters with focus on healthcare

  • Existing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturer commercial, trade, or market access teams.

  • Experience selling into or partnering with specialty pharmacies, 3PLs, or patient hub providers.

  • Prior experience at a growth-stage healthcare services or pharma services company.

Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits -

Salary Range: $144,000 - $180,000
