The following at-will job posting will remain open until filled ARTS OPERATIONS & PRODUCTIONS COORDINATORCHERRY HILL VILLAGEVariable HourRate of Pay: $19.04 per hour Scheduling Requirements:Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) with frequent evenings and weekends  DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:The Art Operations & Productions Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day logistical and administrative operations of the Cherry Hill Village arts campus, including The Village Theater, Arts Warehouse, and The Factory. This role oversees box office functions, staff scheduling, and the training and onboarding of new team members. It also includes advancing contracts for performances; maintaining event calendars; coordinating room setup, facility rentals and equipment needs; submitting maintenance requests; and overseeing concessions inventory and purchasing. The coordinator ensures smooth and efficient operations to support the successful execution of performances, events, and programs throughout the campus.EXAMPLES OF WORK: (Note: These examples are intended merely as illustrations of the various types of work performed.)Assists with front-of-house coordination.Creates and manages staff schedules for the arts campus to ensure proper coverage across events and programs and provides on-site support when necessary.Leads training and onboarding for new arts campus staff to ensure consistency in service, safety, and facility protocols.Coordinates contract advancement for performers and productions, including technical requirements, hospitality, and schedules.Maintains and updates room calendars, coordinates setup, and arranges necessary equipment for events and rentals.Submits and tracks maintenance requests to ensure the arts campus remains safe, clean, and fully operational.Responsible for concessions inventory, purchasing, and shopping to support events and performances.Coordinates and assists with setup, teardown, and cleanup of programs and events.Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, scheduling, and supervising part-time/seasonal recreational staff as directed.Responsible for purchasing supplies and equipment for programs and activities.Ensures safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures are followed by the public and employees.Prepares information and reports for budgets, monthly and annual reports as applicable.Maintains accurate program, activity, and equipment records.Responsible for responding to, communicating, and documenting emergencies and incidents, including, but not limited to, First Aid, CPR, Severe Weather, and Missing Child events.Works with community organizations, groups, and individual citizens to promote arts and culture programs and events.Responsible for interaction with participants, families, and staff members in a positive, professional, and friendly manner to ensure a high level of customer service and delivery of quality recreation programs.Coordinates facility rentals and meets with clients during evening and weekend hours to showcase venues and execute rental contracts.Ensures proper ADA accommodations are met in the facility where programs and events take place.Inspects and prepares facilities and equipment for planned programs and events; reports equipment damage according to departmental policy and procedures to direct supervisor.Responsible for scheduling staff to assigned programs, events, and camps.Coordinates program entry, rentals and room reservations, utilizing registration software.Operates Township vehicles, including a 12-passenger van while pulling a trailer, to transport program participants and supplies as assigned.Responsible for the enforcement of departmental rules and regulations, operating procedures, and policies.Responsible for working with vendors, instructors, and entertainment to ensure proper contracts are in order for services.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS—KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Minimum age of 18 years old.High School diploma or GED required.Previous organizational and operations experience required; supervisory and event production and stage management experience preferred.Previous customer service experience is required.Previous recreation experience, working in similar facility or program, is preferred.Must possess a current, valid Driver's License with a driving history that does not create liability concerns, which include, but are not limited to, convictions for reckless driving, careless driving, suspended license or convictions involving drinking and impaired driving.Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.Ability to operate a 12-passenger van equipped with a wheelchair lift, with the ability to tow a trailer behind the van as necessary.Ability to perform manual lifting and loading of program supplies and equipment.Ability to clearly communicate procedures, problems, and policies with fellow employees and the public tactfully and courteously.Ability to demonstrate techniques and skills associated with assigned programs and activities.Ability to respond to emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.Skill in organizing self and others; ability to self-start in discharging responsibilities.Ability to work a wide variety of shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.This is an "At-Will" position: Work assignments and hours are scheduled based on availability, division requirements, and within the confines of the budget.
