As Director Residential Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Kalyra's residential aged care portfolio, leading senior leaders and influencing a workforce of approximately 350 employees.

You will be responsible for driving service excellence, operational performance and sustainable growth across our residential communities while leading transformational initiatives and responding to the evolving aged care landscape. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will play an integral role in shaping organisational strategy and delivering Kalyra's vision for the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion innovation, transformation initiatives and aged care reform implementation.
  • Strengthen workforce capability, culture, safety and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, accreditation and AN-ACC requirements.
  • Oversee quality, risk and governance frameworks to support safe and sustainable operations.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, financial performance and future growth opportunities.
Desired Skills and Experience

About You

You are a strategic leader with significant experience managing residential aged care operations and leading large, multidisciplinary teams. You combine strong commercial acumen with a deep commitment to resident outcomes and people leadership.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Health Sciences, Community Services, Business or a related discipline.
  • Extensive senior leadership experience within aged care, health or community services.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care legislation, compliance and AN-ACC funding.
  • Demonstrated success leading organisational change and service improvement.
  • Sound financial, operational and commercial management skills.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to fostering positive workplace cultures.
  • A genuine alignment with Kalyra's values and purpose.

AHPRA registration and clinical leadership experience are highly regarded but not essential.

Why Kalyra?
