What you'll do
The Director of Retail Sales - Lowe's is responsible for leading Henkel ACA's Lowe's business, including full P&L accountability, strategic direction, and team leadership.
This role drives revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion while strengthening executive-level customer relationships. As a member of the North American Commercial Leadership Team, this leader shapes enterprise commercial strategy and influences cross-functional priorities.
The role requires balancing long-term strategic planning with disciplined operational execution across a complex, highly cross-merchandised retail environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Ownership
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Lowe's business, delivering against revenue, margin, and market share targets.
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with Henkel ACA's growth priorities.
  • Lead annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) process, including promotional strategy, innovation launches, assortment planning, and investment allocation.
  • Utilize customer, syndicated, and industry data to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Influence pricing strategy, trade investment, and promotional effectiveness in partnership with Finance and Commercial Excellence. Customer & Industry Leadership
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across Lowe's merchandising, marketing, supply chain, and leadership teams.
  • Serve as Henkel's subject-matter expert on Lowe's and the Home Improvement channel, proactively sharing insights, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends.
  • Lead negotiation of annual agreements, programs, and key strategic initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enterprise Influence
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Digital, and Innovation teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Drive alignment between demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and promotional execution.
  • Influence go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Channel Leaders.
  • Represent the Lowe's business in SBU strategic planning discussions and investment prioritization. Team Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing account team, fostering accountability, strategic thinking, and executional excellence.
  • Assess team capabilities and implement development plans to strengthen account management expertise.

Education:
  • BS/BA in business or related field; MBA a plus.

Experience:
  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including management of large national retail accounts (e.g., Lowe's, The Home Depot, Walmart).

  • Proven track record managing complex P&Ls and delivering sustained profitable growth

The salary range for this role is $ 150,000.00 and $ 175,000.00. This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting.In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
