Job description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and security of the casino marketing and player tracking databases.
• Build, segment, and validate guest lists for direct mail, email, SMS, app, host, event, and promotional campaigns.
• Extract and analyze player data, including carded play, visit frequency, theoretical win, actual win/loss, reinvestment, offer redemption, and campaign response.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for marketing performance, promotions, special events, player reinvestment, loyalty activity, and guest trends.
• Assist with pre- and post-campaign analysis to evaluate offer effectiveness, profitability, response rates, and revenue impact.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate production of direct marketing campaigns.
• Audit campaign files, offers, player segments, mail lists, bounce backs, returned mail, opt-outs, and data suppressions for accuracy and compliance.
• Support database hygiene activities, including duplicate resolution, address standardization, NCOA updates, contact preference maintenance, and data quality reviews.
• Research and resolve data discrepancies, player account questions, campaign coding issues, and reporting variances.
• Assist with loyalty program reporting, promotional tracking, event invitation lists, drawing files, and offer loading as needed.
• Protect confidential guest, financial, marketing, and proprietary information in accordance with company policy and applicable gaming regulations.
Competencies:
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and campaign timelines in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings to non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of player reinvestment, segmentation, offer strategy, loyalty programs, and promotional analysis preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive guest information with professionalism and discretion.
• Collaborative work style with the ability to partner effectively with Marketing, IT, Casino Operations, Finance, Compliance, and vendor partners.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data extraction, or reporting tools is strongly preferred.
Work Environment:
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a casino or resort setting.
• May be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, or special event periods based on business needs.
• May occasionally access casino floor areas and be exposed to noise, lights, smoke or vape residue where permitted, and high guest traffic.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and standard office equipment.
