About the Role
The Print Production Specialist keeps our digital print and direct mail work moving from concept to print-ready output. You'll blend creative design with hands-on collaboration across press and prepress, pre-flighting customer files and making adjustments to ensure every job hits the mark.
What You'll Do
  • Design print-ready materials for direct mail, marketing, and client campaigns.
  • Preflight and troubleshoot files to catch font, resolution, and color issues before press runs.
  • Manage digital press queues and job workflows to keep production on schedule.
  • Coordinate short-run and on-demand job setups with press operators.
  • Conduct press-side proofing and quality control to ensure output matches client specs.
  • Communicate project updates clearly with Account Management and Production teams.
What You Bring to the Table
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2–4 years of related experience in digital printing or a related field.
  • Hands-on print industry experience with cut-sheet toner digital printers and Fiery.
  • Working knowledge of BCC's Mail Manager, standard MIS, and Google Suite.
  • Strong working knowledge of postal regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt seamlessly to shifting priorities and diverse operational needs.

Physical Requirements
This is an active, production-floor role. You'll be on your feet for extended periods, using your hands for detailed, hands-on tasks, and working near moving mechanical parts in an occasionally loud environment. The role requires lifting up to 25 lbs and pushing up to 500 lbs with a pallet jack, along with the ability to read small print and follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
