Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA / Caregiver / DSP to provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in a residential or community setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in their care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Behavioral Support: Implement individualized support plans and strategies to address behavioral needs, providing guidance and interventions as necessary.
  • Skill Development: Encourage and assist individuals in developing daily living skills and achieving personal goals, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Safety and Supervision: Ensure a safe and secure environment by monitoring individuals’ activities, preventing accidents, and addressing any safety concerns.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, incidents, and progress toward goals in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Communication: Collaborate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
  • Community Integration: Support individuals in participating in community activities and accessing services that promote social inclusion and engagement.

Qualifications:
