The opportunity
Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at Monsieur Dior in Beverly Hills, California. As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will prepare the bakery products at Monsieur Dior and ensure all items are served in a timely manner to the highest freshness and quality.
Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

What will you do?
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
  • Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked, and utilize kitchen equipment to prepare food items such as knives, slicers, pots, steamers, and ovens
  • Ensures proper baking temperatures are maintained, and food is stored correctly
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines

More about you
  • 2-3 years of experience on or in a similar role.
  • Basic math skills with the ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player, following procedures and taking directions
  • Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift while also walking, bending, reaching, and performing other repetitive motions
