Join our innovative team at ALCIVIA as a Digital Transformation Strategist dedicated to advancing our energy business operations through cutting-edge technology and data solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive digital initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, customer service, and overall business performance. You will serve as a vital link between energy operations, customer service, business users, and IT, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of digital tools and processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Digital Transformation and Technology Optimization

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, reporting, and digital tools.
  • Evaluate, recommend, test, and support implementation of software, system enhancements, integrations, and workflow improvements.
  • Serve as a business system resource for energy-related technology platforms and help ensure tools are used consistently and effectively.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to troubleshoot issues, optimize functionality, and improve user adoption.

Data Management, Cleaning, and Analytics

  • Lead efforts to improve the quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness of customer, operational, product, delivery, and reporting data.
  • Conduct data audits, data cleansing, duplicate review, validation, and exception monitoring to identify and correct inaccuracies.
  • Work closely with our business intelligence partner to develop reports, dashboards, and analysis that provide actionable insights for energy leadership and business teams.
  • Support data governance practices, documentation standards, and repeatable processes that increase confidence in business reporting.

Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency

  • Review current workflows and identify ways to improve accuracy, reduce manual entry, eliminate rework, and increase efficiency.
  • Document processes, recommend best practices, and create standard work resources to improve consistency across locations and teams.
  • Develop and monitor performance measures that evaluate the effectiveness of new systems, process changes, and data improvement initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional projects focused on customer experience, operational excellence, and business transformation.

Training, Adoption and Change Support

  • Develop and deliver training, job aids, process guides, and user resources for energy technology platforms, reports, and workflows.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and user support to help employees understand and adopt improved digital tools and processes.
  • Gather feedback from end users and recommend additional system, process, or training improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Three to five years of experience in business systems, data analytics, process improvement, technology implementation, operations support, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with data, identify inaccuracies, clean information, build reporting, and translate insights into practical business recommendations.
  • Strong communication and training skills with the ability to explain technology and data concepts in clear business terms.
  • Proficiency with energy-based applications, databases, CRMs, and ERPs.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments, influence change, and maintain confidentiality and professional judgment.

Preferred

  • Experience within energy, propane, refined fuels, agriculture cooperative, distribution, or related industries.
  • Experience leading technology adoption, process improvement, data governance, or digital transformation initiatives,
  • Business analysis, change management, and project management coursework or certifications.
