Overview

Salary Range: $146,635-$246,429

Position Summary

  • Lead the global transformation of our Customs House Brokerage (CHB) business from a transactional support function into a standardized, digitally enabled, performance-driven global product.
  • Drive strategic multi-year initiatives across P&L harmonization, capability mapping, digital enablement, consulting services development, and global network governance.
  • Partner with GHQ leadership and OpCos worldwide to establish CHB as a scalable, profitable, and consulting-driven business platform.
Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Global Program Leadership

  • Lead execution of the CHB 2026-2030 Mid-Term Strategy across global OpCos.
  • Align regional and local leadership on strategic priorities and performance expectations.
  • Deliver structured transformation milestones including P&L harmonization, capability mapping, digital deployment, and consulting model rollout.
  • Establish governance forums and reporting cadence at GHQ level.

P&L Standardization & Performance Visibility

  • Design and implement a unified global CHB P&L framework.
  • Define KPIs and reporting standards ensuring transparency across markets.
  • Drive performance reviews and profitability optimization at GHQ level.

Digital Capability Development

  • Lead digital roadmap planning (EDI integration, automation, AI-based classification, dashboards).
  • Oversee global pilots and scaling of digital customs solutions.
  • Partner with IT and external providers to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.

Consulting Capability & Service Development

  • Develop structured CHB advisory and consulting offerings (compliance advisory, tariff engineering, special procedures, trade optimization).
  • Implement pricing frameworks, global rate cards, and monetization models.
  • Integrate best practices into a standardized global consulting proposition.

Global Network Formation

  • Establish a global CHB community enabling collaboration, referral flows, and cross-border account development.
  • Harmonize operating models and governance standards across regions.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and capability maturity growth.

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Influence senior stakeholders across diverse cultural and regulatory environments.
  • Drive mindset shifts from local brokerage operations to global business product management.
  • Act as transformation ambassador across markets.
Qualifications

Required Level Of Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CCS, CILT, ICPA, Licensed Customs Broker, or equivalent strongly valued.

Relevant Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Customs Brokerage, Global Trade Compliance, or Trade Advisory.
  • Experience leading multi-country transformation programs or global product standardization initiatives.
  • Proven exposure to centralized P&L structures and performance-driven operating models.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital trade technologies (EDI, automation, AI classification engines, customs management systems).

REQUIRED SKILLS Technical & Business Skills

  • Deep knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, AEO programs, valuation, origin management, and special procedures.
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of service profitability and cost allocation models.
  • Digital fluency across BI tools, SaaS systems, and automation technologies.
  • Ability to structure scalable consulting propositions.

  • Executive-level stakeholder management across regions and cultures.
