Role Description

Manufacturing client is seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Designer to join our marketing team full-time at our South Plainfield, NJ location.


The Senior Designer will lead the visual direction and execution of key marketing and branding projects across print, digital, trade shows, product launches, sales materials, packaging, and customer-facing communications. This role requires a strong eye for design, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to take creative concepts from idea through final execution.


The ideal candidate is both a hands-on designer and a creative leader who can guide projects, collaborate with team members, manage multiple priorities, and ensure that all design work reflects brand standards, quality, and business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute high-quality visual design projects across print, digital, web, email, social media, presentations, product materials, and trade show assets.
  • Develop creative concepts that support marketing campaigns, product launches, dealer communications, and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain and strengthen brand consistency across all marketing and sales materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, sales team, leadership, and outside vendors to bring projects from concept to completion.
  • Manage multiple design projects at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prepare production-ready files for print, digital, signage, packaging, and other marketing applications.
  • Support the development of catalogs, brochures, flyers, showroom materials, presentations, and other key brand assets.
  • Stay current with design trends, marketing best practices, and industry-relevant visual styles.


Qualifications

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual design, layout, typography, branding, and creative execution.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Proven experience managing design projects from concept through final delivery.
  • Strong understanding of print production, digital design, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to lead creative projects, give direction, and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over final work.
  • Experience in home decor design, interior design, building products, or a related industry is a plus.
  • Experience with photography direction, video, animation, web design, or trade show graphics is a plus.
