Job Description

The Senior Director, Enterprise Digital Strategy and Product Management is responsible for defining and executing Unitek's enterprise digital strategy by aligning technology investments with institutional priorities and long-term business objectives. Serving as the strategic bridge between business and technology, this leader partners with executive stakeholders to develop multi-year roadmaps, prioritize enterprise initiatives, and govern a portfolio of digital capabilities that deliver measurable business value.  This role leads the strategic planning and evolution of the organization's enterprise digital products, including the Student Information System (SIS), enterprise data and analytics platforms, AI solutions, enterprise integrations, and workflow automation, treating these capabilities as strategic products that continuously evolve to meet changing business needs. Through strong executive partnerships, governance, and innovation, the Senior Director drives digital transformation that enhances operational effectiveness, improves the student experience, and supports the organization's long-term growth and competitive position.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise digital strategy and multi-year product roadmap aligned with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital transformation and translate business strategies into prioritized technology initiatives.
  • Lead the business strategy for enterprise AI initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing high-value use cases that improve operational efficiency and enhance the student experience.
  • Oversee the enterprise portfolio of digital products and platforms, ensuring investments are aligned with business objectives, organizational priorities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Establish strategic roadmaps for enterprise platforms, including Student Information Systems (SIS), enterprise data and analytics, executive reporting, AI solutions, integrations, and workflow automation.
  • Facilitate governance processes that evaluate, prioritize, and balance competing technology initiatives, business needs, and resource investments.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to define product vision, business capabilities, success metrics, and long-term investment strategies.
  • Drive business process improvement initiatives by leveraging technology, data, and automation to increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with business leaders to monitor adoption, measure value realization, and continuously improve enterprise digital capabilities.
  • Provide strategic leadership for enterprise data, analytics, and reporting initiatives that support data-informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leaders, technology teams, and business stakeholders to foster collaboration, alignment, and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline preferred.
  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise digital strategy, product management, business transformation, or enterprise technology.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, developing strategic technology roadmaps, and governing complex portfolios of technology investments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud platforms, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, enterprise integrations, and digital product management principles.
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy into enterprise technology initiatives that deliver measurable business value and operational improvements.
  • Exceptional executive communication, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and organizational change leadership skills, with the ability to influence decisions across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to prioritize investments, drive business process improvement, and achieve enterprise strategic objectives.
  • Experience in higher education and with Student Information Systems (e.g., Anthology, CampusNexus, Colleague, Banner, Workday Student), enterprise data platforms, and Agile product management methodologies is preferred.
