Ready to step into the dynamic world of retail and consumer goods?
As part of the sales organization, the Associate Business Manager (Target) aids in all sales responsibilities and supports eCommerce and retail services. This position assists the Target Business Manager in executing the mutual business goals of Acosta and assigned vendor clients.
*This position will be Hybrid I or II, working from our Corporate office in Eden Prairie, MN
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, from supply chain and eCommerce to analytics and customer planning. This role supports the execution and planning of business strategies.
  • Own the new item creation and item management process, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Proactively engage in tactical and administrative communication to ensure seamless flow of information from vendor partners and Target.
  • Aid in the creation of compelling sales presentations and engaging category reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic promotional plans and monitor the execution with key metrics and analysis to provide insight and efficiencies.
  • Conduct online content audits, identifying opportunities to maximize vendor's online presence.
  • Monitor vendor income collection and perform chargeback and audit research.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to proactively intervene when anticipating challenges
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of financial acumen with data-driven mindset
  • Proficient in Windows Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Target experience preferred but not required
