Job description

Opportunity available for a Digital Product Owner with a strong background in Digital Asset Management (DAM) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise digital asset capabilities.


The ideal candidate has experience implementing or enhancing DAM platforms, understands metadata and taxonomy best practices, and can translate business needs into scalable digital product solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Digital Asset Management platform.
  • Define and prioritize product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, brand, legal, and technology teams to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements.
  • Improve digital asset lifecycle management, including asset creation, approval, storage, governance, distribution, and archival.
  • Define metadata standards, taxonomy, tagging strategies, and search optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new DAM functionality using Agile methodologies.
  • Drive integrations between DAM and enterprise platforms including CMS, PIM, CRM, eCommerce, marketing automation, and creative tools.
  • Monitor product adoption, user engagement, and platform performance using analytics and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure governance, security, compliance, and digital rights management policies are maintained.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, user acceptance testing, and release planning.
  • Present roadmap updates and product metrics to executive leadership and business stakeholders.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Owner or Product Manager experience.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital content lifecycle management.
  • Experience managing Agile product backlogs and product roadmaps.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering and business teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • W2 employment only. No C2C, third-party vendors, or subcontractors.
  • Local candidates only.
  • Must be able to work onsite in a hybrid environment as required.
