Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for a Business Product Owner, Digital Quality to be located in Raritan, NJ; New Brunswick, NJ or Horsham, PA.

Purpose:

The Business Product Owner, Digital Quality will help drive the delivery of digital initiatives across the Global Q&C organization and will help execute the Enterprise Quality (EQ) digital product roadmap and strategy and the Q&C digital roadmap. This role will be hands on with various efforts that are aligned to segment partner priorities. The role will need to deliver on cross sector & cross functional product releases contained in the roadmap and identified digital capabilities while proactively influencing & supporting the sector & Enterprise digital talent strategy. The Business Product Owner will be responsible to understand and action segment needs related to the Q&C digital product space to deliver value in support of the segment strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of tools and technology that automate repetitive tasks, leverage data, augment decision making and reimagine processes. Ensure deep integration, alignment & synchronization across the sector functions.

  • Line up connections and collaboration of similar processes & capabilities (use cases)

  • Execute rapid hands-on engineering (citizen development) to support delivery of benefits for sectors

  • Lead digital workshops, support Q&C proof of concepts & deliver on sector transfer products

  • Scout new opportunities for digital capabilities in partnership with JJT and sector digital functions

  • Establish and maintain digital product operational framework and digital lifecycle management

  • Distill business process needs, assisting with articulating the needs with technical partners

  • Partner with and coordinate with SMEs to identify execution roadblocks - escalate to EQ LT for solutions where needed

  • Act a change agent for digital adoption, ensuring a digital perspective is considered in solution design on product teams

  • Assist with cross-segment visibility to digital, AI, and IA-enabled solutions

  • Establish key metrics to track progress towards long-term digital product maturity

  • Help support and lead initiatives to drive execution of the Q&C digital strategy overall

  • Enables enterprise-wide innovation sharing while supporting segment needs

  • Feed in & out demand & supply of solutions across the Q&C workstreams

  • Accountable for timely and on-budget execution of products, where EQ has ownership

  • Stimulate "digital first" attitude in product teams and partner functions

  • Support communications & capability building for Enterprise Q&C population

  • Promote and grow the EQ product portfolio. Coach, mentor and educate colleagues across the organization on EQ digital products and services.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement to internal ways of working to support IA and collaborate with key stakeholders to implement aligned improvements.

  • Collaborate with a broad team of segment & functional representatives and EQ to assist in connecting cross-workstream efforts.

  • Understand the business problems/needs and help the business derive additional benefits through identification of new and emerging services and capabilities. Provide input with the intent to influence product roadmaps.

  • Consistently scan the internal and external environment to identify new capabilities to be delivered in support of the Q&C digital transformation and to enable value for the segments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field of study related to supply chain, life sciences, information technology, data science, artificial intelligence or related.

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare or other related regulated industries.

  • Experience in any one of these fields: Supply Chain, Quality & Compliance, Information Technology, Data Science, and/or Advanced Analytics.

  • Experience working in the Pharmaceuticals, and/or Medical Devices sectors.

  • Consistent record translating business needs into solutions. Proven ability to distill sophisticated business processes into succinct process steps.

  • Strong product management skills with shown business results and outcomes

  • Ability to recognize similarities amongst processes while appreciating the need for differences where required is helpful.

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Agile.

  • Experience with the latest digital and emerging technologies (e.g.,GenAI, SAP BRH, BluePrism, PowerPlatform, etc.) and/or digital adoption tools (e.g., WalkMe, WhatFix, etc.).

  • Examples in building compelling business cases, including value realization calculations.

  • Examples of successful implementation in IA or other technologies.

  • Strong background of driving transformation.

  • Proven success working across functions and succeeding in a matrix organization.

  • Strong enterprise mentality & strong intuition for business.

  • Training in Product Management or demonstrable experience.

  • Understanding and experience in high quality digital products delivery, including planning, dependency management, and delivery execution & governance.

  • Sufficient understanding of the business needs, including sufficient knowledge of business processes, relevant value drivers, and industry trends.

  • Experienced in managing a product backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, attending product team ceremonies, removing blockers.

Preferred:

  • Q&C Digital Certification.

  • Product Management certification.

  • Certification in agile, process excellence, design thinking, or lean.

Other:

  • This position may require a 10% domestic and/or international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$102,000.00 - $177,100.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
