Job description

Position Summary:

TCL North America is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Design Production Artist to support the creation, resizing, and preparation of digital marketing assets. This role is ideal for someone who recently graduated with a degree in graphic design and is looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced creative production environment. The Junior Production Artist will work closely with designers and creative leads to help prepare clean, accurate, brand-consistent files for digital channels and TCL.com. The majority of the work will focus on digital assets such as display ads, paid social graphics, email graphics, website content, and e-commerce imagery. This role may also assist with basic print production and prepress tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Production

  • Resize and adapt existing creative into multiple digital formats and sizes.

  • Help create production-ready assets for display ads, paid social, email, websites, landing pages, and e-commerce content.

  • Follow brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all creative deliverables.

  • Export and organize files according to project specifications.

  • Prepare graphics for web and digital use, including proper file formats and image optimization.

  • Review artwork for accuracy, including spelling, layout, sizing, alignment, image quality, and overall consistency.

  • Maintain organized working files, final files, and asset folders.

  • Assist with updates and revisions to existing creative files.

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and marketing partners to complete tasks on time.

  • Learn and follow internal creative production processes and naming conventions.

Light Print Production Support

  • Assist with preparing basic print-ready files for signage, sales collateral, retail displays, event materials, or other printed pieces.

  • Help check files for bleed, trim, safety margins, image resolution, and color setup when needed.

  • Package files for review or vendor handoff when needed.

  • Support basic prepress checks under the guidance of more experienced team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • 0–2 years of professional design or production experience, including internships, freelance work, school projects, or portfolio work.

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially:

    • Photoshop

    • Illustrator

    • InDesign

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Basic understanding of digital file formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF, and layered working files.
