Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Digital Product Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner within a product operating model
  • Strong background in Application Security (AppSec) (required)
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • Ability to translate strategy into detailed product features and execution plans
  • Experience managing backlogs and driving prioritization
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical teams
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Background in AppSec engineering with a transition into product ownership
  • Experience in large, complex enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and standards

What You Will Be Doing
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Digital Product Management.
  • Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Digital Product Management challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
  • Strategy Execution
  • Translate enterprise AppSec vision, strategy, and roadmap into actionable deliverables
  • Align delivery outcomes with leadership-defined goals and priorities
  • Product Ownership
  • Own and manage product features within the assigned delivery group
  • Ensure alignment with product model standards and security objectives
  • Delivery Planning & Execution
  • Define timelines (“when”) and manage delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Break down initiatives into epics, features, and user stories for quarterly and annual planning
  • Drive initiatives from intake through execution and delivery
  • Backlog & Prioritization
  • Maintain ownership of the product backlog
  • Control prioritization based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment
  • Stakeholder & Engineering Collaboration
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure successful feature delivery
  • Serve as the link between strategic direction and execution
  • Domain Focus: Application Security
  • This role operates within the Application Security domain, with a primary focus on:
  • Vulnerability management and code scanning
  • Ensuring secure development practices across enterprise applications
  • Identifying and remediating security risks in application code
  • Relevant Concepts & Tools:
  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
  • Vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Checkmarx, TruffleHog)
  • General understanding of secure coding and DevSecOps practices
