Requires a hands-on working manager to manage a team. Contributes to the overall growth of the company by utilizing a team of professionals to enhance equipment capabilities and contribute to the sales team's ability to sell additional printers through increased options for paper, optimized quality of output for samples and eliminate substrate issues that impact serviceability of equipment
This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Boca Raton, Fl so that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities.
- Manage all aspects of the Customer Experience Center including preparation and post mortems for all meetings & demos.
- Manage diverse team of individuals that work directly for CEC manager including product experts, press operators, Customer Service Representatives and Finishing experts.
- Work with CEC staff to fulfill print sample requests and work with the field organization on proper procedures and expectations.
- Support Customer Events (PPS, LFS and ESS); Represent senior management team as a presenter, act as liaison with vendors and speakers including presentation development and review.
- Coordinate senior management involvement as needed for customer meetings, ensuring alignment and confirmation of attendance; prep executives as necessary.
- Successfully develop and implement a process that generates an Executive Briefing Document to be distributed to the management team, prior to any customer visits.
- Ensure CEC look and feel reflects application focus; work cross-functionally with Marketing Segment Managers and Product Managers to ensure best possible application representation is displayed cohesively.
- Support trade show and field requests (outside the scope of the customer visit program).
- Actively manage equipment & expenses to 100% of budget.
- Work with others throughout Canon to support Boca hosted sales training, customer events and press events which utilize the CEC.
- Manage staff, including Performance reviews and staff development (training initiatives).
- Work closely with the media team on customer/prospect media requests.
- Effectively communicates (written and verbal) as a team player cross-functionally to all levels within the team, organization, and with customers.
- Utilizes strong presentation skills to education/influence decision-making to a varied audience.
- Effectively delegates and gains consensus.
- Manages multiple projects with a wide range of priorities demonstrating strong analytical and data collection strengths.
- Bachelors degree required and minimum 7 years print industry experience.
- Executive presence and presentation skill level.
- Must be 100% comfortable with public speaking.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and plan projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve customer satisfaction & loyalty.
- Must be able to work well in cross-functional teams and building cross-functional consensus.
- Effective negotiation skills (agencies and vendors).
- Ability to provide input into and accomplish current and future goals.
- May require travel and work outside of business hours (valid drivers license and acceptable driving record necessary).
We are providing the anticipated base salary range for this role: $96,880.00-45,090.00 annually.
