Job description

Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S.
FSSI East Inc. is looking for a full-time Digital Print Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Lincoln, Rhode Island. This position is responsible for operating digital print machinery to produce a high volume of quality printed documentation. We're looking for a reliable candidate who is eager to grow in a fast-paced production environment. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am (2nd shift)
Overtime is scheduled as needed, and could require coming in earlier, staying later, and working weekend shifts during high-volume production cycles.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operation of various digital printing equipment/machinery.
  • Quality control of all printed output.
  • Accurate accountability of all materials used and all printed output.
  • Clear communication of any issues to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Consistent communication with Mail Services team to meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Attention to detail is an absolute must for the accurate and quality printing of multiple jobs on multiple printers.
  • Print Operators are required to maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • A team player mindset is essential for success in this position. Will frequently work closely with other Print Operators, other Operations teams, Management, and the Client Service team.
  • Consistently follow and practice all policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1+ years of printer operation experience preferred.
  • Strong organization, time-management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail skills required.
  • Must work well in a team-setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch while operating printers. Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision required by this job include close, distant, and peripheral vision, and focus adjustments. Will use a hand truck, carts, and pallet jacks to push and pull materials. Hands and arms are used for loading and unloading printers, as well as to clear printer jams as needed.
