Job description

Work Hours: 7pm – 7am Thurs - Saturday and every other Wednesday and a 7am - 7pm Thurs - Sat every other Wednesday. With expected mandatory additional hours including weekends

Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour based on experience/ skills

What we are looking for:

Experienced professional to operate and maintain inkjet web digital printing production equipment. Combining technical skills with attention to detail to meet customer requirements efficiently.

What you will be doing:

Set-up, Operating and Maintenance:

  • Set up printing jobs by selecting appropriate settings, loading digital files, and configuring printing parameters according to job specifications.
  • Operate print machine(s) independently for all types of jobs.
  • Handle and prepare printing materials, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and managing inventory.
  • Digital print operators perform regular maintenance tasks on printing equipment, such as cleaning, calibrating, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Consistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency.
  • Able to run 100% mail well for critical clients.
  • Provide proper adjustments to meet established hourly production standards.
  • Ensure proper sorting according to USPS requirements.
  • Reconciling/recording for all output.
  • Accurately use job data capture to track time.

Quality:

  • Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards by monitoring the printing process for consistency, color accuracy, and print quality.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
  • Effectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output.
  • Reviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor.
  • Follow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures.

Who you are:

  • Experience operating a Ricoh VC60000/VC70000 or similar inkjet continuous web printer.
  • Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility.
  • Experience working in a detail oriented and deadline driven environment.
  • High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands:

  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
