If you are an experienced digital print operator who takes pride in quality, enjoys solving technical challenges, and wants to work with advanced production technology, we would like to meet you.What You’ll DoAs a Digital Print Operator, you will operate and maintain our Ricoh VC70000 continuous-feed inkjet press and support other digital production equipment. You will help ensure every job meets Sepire’s standards for quality, accuracy, productivity, security, and on-time delivery.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain the Ricoh VC70000 continuous-feed inkjet press and other digital production equipment.
  • Perform routine operator maintenance and troubleshoot press- and print-related issues to maximize uptime.
  • Create and maintain substrate and color profiles for new materials.
  • Monitor color and print quality in accordance with established standards and approved samples.
  • Verify registration, sequence, record integrity, and variable-data accuracy throughout production.
  • Follow job instructions, general work instructions, standard operating procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Perform required production sampling, inspections, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Client Services, Prepress, Bindery, and Operations to complete work accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor consumables and maintain established inventory levels.
  • Safely move paper rolls, press loads, and raw materials using material-handling equipment.
  • Cross-train on additional print and post-print production equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work overtime or assist other departments when needed to meet customer commitments.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, including HIPAA, SOC 2, and OSHA.
What We’re Looking For
  • Two or more years of experience operating digital color production printing equipment.
  • Experience with high-speed continuous-feed inkjet presses preferred; Ricoh VC70000 experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with color management, sample matching, and device or substrate profiling.
  • Working knowledge of imposition and digital print workflows.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills.
  • Comfort using computers and a variety of production and collaboration applications.
  • Ability to work in a process-driven environment, manage priorities, and maintain close attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented approach with clear communication and a commitment to shared production goals.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime based on business needs.
