Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Digital Print Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and adhering to production schedules. This role requires a combination of technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for the printing industry. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various digital printing machines, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
  • Prepare and set up printing machines for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and performing pre-print checks to ensure print quality.
  • Monitor the printing process, making real-time adjustments as necessary to maintain color accuracy, consistency, and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printing issues, including paper jams, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prolong the life of the machinery.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and production managers to understand project specifications and ensure quality control throughout the printing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and job documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in digital printing technology, contributing ideas for process improvement and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in printing technology is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Printer Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry.
  • Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various digital printing equipment (preferably Canon).
  • Strong understanding of color management, file formats, and printing techniques.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude towards collaboration.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • The job is subject to interruptions and involves fellow employees, Sales, vendors and customers under all conditions or circumstances, including those who are occasionally upset or hostile. 
  • Work includes walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting during working hours, and at times continuous reprioritization of schedule to meet customer satisfaction.  

 Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 10PM - 6AM
  • Occasional overtime and weekend work as needed to meet production deadlines
