Concept Arts is an award-winning creative agency with more than 40 years of experience helping studios, streamers, brands, and franchises connect with audiences through culture, creativity, and storytelling.
Our New Media team develops social, digital, creator, content, and integrated campaigns for some of the world's most recognized entertainment and consumer brands.
We're looking for a Director, Business Development, New Media to help drive the next phase of growth for the department.
The Opportunity
This role is focused on generating new business, expanding client relationships, and identifying opportunities that help grow our New Media practice.
The ideal candidate is a natural relationship builder with a strong network across entertainment, streaming, gaming, sports, culture, and consumer brands. They understand how to open doors, build trust, and turn conversations into long-term partnerships.
You will work closely with agency leadership, strategy, creative, production, and account teams to bring new opportunities into the agency and help shape the future of our New Media business.
Responsibilities
Business Development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across entertainment, streaming, gaming, sports, consumer brands, and culture.
• Build relationships with senior marketing, brand, social, and communications leaders.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Lead outreach, relationship development, and prospecting efforts.
• Represent Concept Arts at industry events, conferences, screenings, and networking opportunities.
• Generate opportunities for project-based, retainer, and AOR engagements.
Client Growth
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
• Partner with internal teams to develop strategic solutions that address client needs.
• Help position Concept Arts as a long-term strategic partner.
• Support pitch development, proposal creation, and business presentations.
Industry & Market Development
• Stay informed on trends across social media, digital marketing, creator partnerships, entertainment, gaming, and culture.
• Identify emerging opportunities, categories, and potential partnerships.
• Bring market intelligence and industry insights back to the organization.
• Help shape the growth strategy for the New Media department.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, account growth, or agency leadership.
• Existing relationships across entertainment, streaming, gaming, sports, culture, or consumer brands.
• Experience selling social, digital, content, creator, influencer, or integrated marketing services.
• Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and growing client relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for culture, creativity, and innovation.
