Digital Brand Experience (DBE) is a core function of the Global Brand organization. Our teams power the end-to-end delivery of global creative - from strategy to samples to final visuals. By integrating production, operations, sampling, and planning, we drive agile workflows, strengthen cross-functional partnerships, and accelerate digital content delivery. DBE brings brand and product storytelling to life across global channels, inspiring guests to shop lululemon.
core responsibilities
The Art Director, Digital Brand Experience leads the creative development and execution of brand and product storytelling across lululemon's digital ecosystem. Combining art direction, content creation, and digital visual design, this role shapes compelling experiences that connect seasonal campaigns, ecommerce, and digital retail environments.
Partnering closely with Creative Directors, brand teams, photographers, filmmakers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Art Director brings concepts to life across photography, motion, video, and digital channels. This role ensures a cohesive brand expression while creating content and experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and guest connection.
  • Lead the creative development and execution of digital-first content across seasonal campaigns, product storytelling, ecommerce, and brand initiatives.
  • Art direct photo and video productions, guiding still and motion content from concept through final delivery.
  • Translate campaign concepts into scalable content systems and storytelling frameworks across web, app, email, social, and digital retail channels.
  • Partner with Creative Directors and Brand Creative teams to execute campaign ideas across digital touchpoints while maintaining brand consistency and creative excellence.
  • Oversee the adaptation and optimization of campaign assets for ecommerce and always-on commercial experiences, balancing brand impact with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Digital Designers, UX, Ecommerce, and Product partners to create engaging storytelling experiences that support guest journeys and business goals.
  • Provide creative leadership and feedback across imagery, motion, typography, layout, and storytelling to ensure exceptional craft and execution.
  • Establish and maintain visual standards, templates, and content systems that enable consistency and efficiency at scale.
  • Present creative work and rationale to stakeholders, building alignment and confidence in creative solutions.
  • Stay connected to emerging trends in content creation, photography, film, digital storytelling, commerce, and culture to continually evolve the digital brand experience.
qualifications
  • 6-8 years of experience in digital design, art direction, or brand creative, in-house or at a creative agency.
  • Proven experience leading visual execution across campaigns and digital commerce or content-driven platforms.
  • Strong command of typography, layout systems, color theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
  • Experience managing and mentoring designers, guiding work from concept through delivery.
  • Comfortable working under broader creative direction and translating high-level vision into executable outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across creative, UX, product, and external partners.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to articulate visual decisions clearly and persuasively.
  • High bar forcraft, consistency, and detail in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$112,00-$147,00 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
