About the Role

Are you a sharp broadcast producer who knows how to execute a top-tier live talk show and turn high-profile conversations into engaging digital media? Flag Family Media is looking for a Show Producer & Digital Content Creator to lead live production for our flagship program, Whats On Your Mind with Scott Hennen, while driving the show's digital reach across web, audio, and video platforms.

In this role, you will be the engine behind the live broadcast and the creative producer packaging its high-value moments for a modern digital audience. No traditional newsroom background is required—we want someone with strong broadcast instincts, digital content editing skills, and a passion for multi-platform media.

Key Responsibilities1. Live Show Production (What\'s On Your Mind)
  • Live Broadcast Execution: Manage audio board operations, run show audio, control pacing, and screen live caller lines during What\'s On Your Mind with Scott Hennen.
  • Guest & Segment Prep: Research topics, prepare background info, manage guest booking, and collaborate daily with Scott Hennen on segment planning.
  • On-Air Station Briefs: Help produce concise 90-second hourly updates spotlighting key highlights from the show.
  • Capture High-Value Moments: Identify standout interviews, compelling debates, and high-impact discussions as they happen on air.
  • Multi-Format Asset Creation: Turn broadcast highlights into polished digital packages:
    • Audio Clips: Cut, clean, and export audio segments for on-demand listening and podcast platforms.
    • Video Shorts: Edit short-form video clips optimized for web embedding and social media platforms.
    • Digital Recaps: Utilize modern drafting tools to generate quick 3–5 paragraph articles to accompany the media assets.
  • Web & Social Publishing: Format and publish complete digital posts (article + audio + video) to station websites and distribute content across primary social channels.
