Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $45,000-$70,000 Annually


About the Role

Do you have a passion for creating content that captures attention and tells a story? Oakes Auto Group is looking for a creative, motivated, and driven Digital Content Creator to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for bringing the Oakes Auto Group brand to life through engaging photography, videography, graphic design, and social media content. You'll work alongside our Marketing Director and dealership teams to create compelling digital campaigns that showcase our inventory, employees, customers, and community while helping drive brand awareness and customer engagement. What You’ll Do
  • Create Digital Content
    Capture and create high-quality photography, videography, graphics, and written content that showcases our dealerships, vehicles, employees, customers, and community.

  • Manage Social Media
    Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, and Google Business while maintaining a consistent brand voice.

  • Design Marketing Materials
    Create digital advertisements, promotional graphics, social media campaigns, event materials, and other marketing assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Capture Dealership Culture
    Attend dealership events, customer deliveries, employee celebrations, and community initiatives to create authentic content that highlights the Oakes brand.

  • Support Marketing Campaigns
    Partner with the Marketing Director and dealership teams to execute seasonal promotions, OEM sales events, recruiting campaigns, and special projects.

  • Track Performance
    Monitor social media analytics and campaign performance to identify trends, measure success, and improve future content.

  • Stay Current
    Keep up with social media trends, digital marketing best practices, and OEM marketing requirements to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and effective.


What We’re Looking For

We're looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated professional with a passion for digital storytelling and content creation. A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, photography, videography, or digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing photography, video editing, graphic design, and social media work, as well as experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Lightroom. Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Business Profile, and Widewail is a plus. Success in this role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and project management abilities, the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to travel throughout the Kansas City metro area to support dealership events and multiple store locations.
