Position Summary

  • Anticipated Hiring Range: $55,608 - $68,954/annual - depending on education and experience
  • Cafeteria Plan: In addition to the base compensation, benefits-eligible employees receive an extra $6,720 per year to put toward benefit costs or to be used as additional take-home pay
  • Paid Holidays: 21 (including a full week off between Christmas and New Year's Day and over Spring Break)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
  • Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, web, texting and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on content creation, including video, photography, graphics, and copywriting, to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Work with the Communication and Outreach Coordinator on social media strategies for lead generation.
  • Write engaging, relevant, persuasive copy for a variety of digital platforms and outlets.
  • Perform Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) functions to increase website and posted media traffic.
  • Run retargeting campaigns with custom audience lists and lookalike audiences.
  • Design campaigns that reflect and celebrate CCC's diverse community, including outreach to rural and underserved populations.
  • Ensure content is accessible and inclusive, following digital accessibility standards.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends.
Marketing Automation and Analytics
  • Manage and optimize communication flows in Element 451 (or other marketing automation platforms) to engage prospective students and other audiences effectively.
  • Use Google Analytics 4, Element 451, and other tools to track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights.
  • Conduct A/B testing and audience segmentation to refine messaging and improve ROI.
  • Develop and manage digital marketing data dashboards.
  • Monitor key online marketing metrics to identify trends and insights and optimize digital ad buys.
Website and Content Management
  • Oversee website updates and maintenance to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and alignment with SEO best practices.
  • Create and optimize landing pages for marketing campaigns, ensuring effective lead generation and user engagement.
  • Integrate marketing tools like Element 451 into website workflows to enhance automation and analytics.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on technical website maintenance and resolve issues such as broken links, slow load speeds, and accessibility compliance.
  • Maintain a user-friendly, online presence using content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop integrated campaigns that support CCC's mission and strategic priorities.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with others in the multiple departments to create and schedule content along digital channels in a planned and cohesive manner.
  • Make presentations, as assigned, to others based upon activities and outcomes of this role.
  • Collaborate with the college recruitment team and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with enrollment goals.
Other Duties
  • May take photos and videos for content needs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership/perspective for adoption.
  • Work within the assigned digital advertising budget and make recommendations for budget adjustments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms, strategies, and analytics, including SEO, PPC, and marketing automation.
  • Working knowledge of Element 451 CRM and its associated marketing automation platform (or other similar platforms).
  • Ability to design and manage communication flows, perform audience segmentation, and analyze campaign performance.
  • Experience with texting platforms, including creating and managing SMS campaigns, automating communication workflows, and leveraging texting analytics to enhance engagement strategies.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS for customizing website content.
  • Proficiency in Canva with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies for marketing, such as ChatGPT.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging, persuasive content.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines across all digital and written content.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, diversity in marketing, and inclusive practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, and at least three years of experience in digital marketing, or the equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Google Analytics 4).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing digital ad campaigns (Meta, Google Ads, etc.) and marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of web development and HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
  • Experience working with diverse audiences and creating content that reflects an inclusive brand.
