We are seeking an accomplished Accounting Director who will assume global responsibilities for our accounting function, along with relevant areas of financial statement preparation, accounting process and policy refinement, management reporting, and tax / transfer pricing disciplines. Partnering with the Corporate Controller, CFO, and other leaders within the CFO Office, this new leader will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals as we charge forward into our next phase of growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities
The Accounting Director will build on a solid base of internal and external financial professionals in the establishment of a world-class global accounting function. Following a multi-year cycle of M&A and PE partnership, a new level of complexity and an accelerated pace of change creates an excellent opportunity for the right leader to make a substantial impact.
  • You have a deep understanding of and can manage the transition and steps from small, private company to public SEC-reporting organization
  • You develop teams and have the ability to think strategically about organizational growth while also recruiting and retaining top talent within the organization
  • You have deep technical accounting skills coupled with the ability to translate to and from business stakeholders in support of continuity and relevance of financial statement preparation
  • You're not afraid or reluctant to roll up your sleeves and work, but you also recognize the need to teach, train and delegate

Requirements
  • Excellent critical thinking and analysis
  • Interest in and aptitude for a wide range of technology disciplines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Big-4 or other large, multi-national firm
  • Broad experience with private and public company financial statement preparation
  • Depth of experience in business process engineering, process automation, and internal controls
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with AI tools and technologies, with a commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence to drive innovation, enhance security, and optimize performance
